Tom Lemons became a United Methodist pastor in 2010 and became Licensed in 2011. He was assigned to serve the churches in St. Francisville, MO and Luray, MO in 2010-2016.
He was assigned to serve Hydesburg United Methodist and First United Methodist (downtown Hannibal) 2016-2019.
Due to a short-term health problem, he was assigned to serve only Hydesburg beginning in 2019.
Tom worked as a full-time private practice dentist in Palmyra 1976-2010. He loved being a dentist, but felt the Holy Spirit was encouraging him to respond to God's amazing grace by serving as a pastor.
As a licensed pastor he has completed seminary classes equivalent to about 60 hours of graduate credit.
Tom feels blessed to be married to Judy since 1972. They have two adult children and four grandchildren.
Tom enjoys reading science fiction and about the human spaceflight programs. He also enjoys summer water sports and ballroom dancing (with Judy).
